I have had a deep tissue bruise in my calf for 10 days. Between the bruise, having a cold and a set of bug bite i developed a severe infection in the tissue. I went to the hospital last night. Spent 7 hours in the ER and I actually feel better today. I have presription for 2 broad spec antibiotics... This was much more severe than i thought it was. I was flu-ish from the infection which set in about Mon or Tues night. Came close to gettin real sick.
Went to a Clinic at the request of my sisters (one has a BS Nursing and the other is in school for her RN)and the On staff Nurse Practitioner sent me immediately to the ER. Could a had a blood clot in the calf. Thats the most frightening thing i have ever experience personally. When the Blood cot report came back negative i was extremely relieved.

That was my sunday afternoon. Muscle tears and bruises turn balck n blu, clotting and infections turn really bright red.
